The contractor condition changes the grant cap
The headline grant and the lower limit for eligible backwater-valve work by a contractor outside the City’s pre-qualified list must be read together. Triple MMM is not on the 2026 pre-qualified list.

Funding does not guarantee performance
A backwater valve and sump arrangement address defined water paths and require maintenance. Approval or installation never guarantees that a basement will not flood from another source.
